I was recently given the opportunity to review a great new iPad story book app called, “Elfishki and the Unwelcome Guest.” Here is a brief little introductory video to the interactive book/game.
This was a delightful little story about a little elf named Vince and his dragon, Brungildo. Vince is an ice cream seller and Brungildo helps with his deliveries. They get the ice cream from Vince’s friend, Maggie. One day, Vince goes to prepare for his deliveries and cannot get into his garage; it seems something is stuck in the lock. This is when he finds Jeanso, a little fairy-like creature with tiny horns on his head. Jeanso just wants a new home to escape the witch who has made him live in her lock for years. Well, if I tell much more I’ll spoil the story!
My son and I loved this story and interactive app. Each page comes to life when you touch it. You can have the story read to you, or you can read at your own pace. There is also a hidden treasures game (I’ve loved these since I was a kid).
Right now, the makers of this delightful program are offering a special. You can download this wonderful app for free until midnight tonight. Just go to their iTunesStore. They are also offering several more of their interactive apps free, so check them out!
You can visit them on their website, Facebook and Twitter to learn about more of their great products and stay up-to-date on promotions and new apps! As I mentioned, you can download the Unwelcome Guest app for free today, but they also have a special on their other apps, so be sure and check them out!
If the promotion is over, then you can get ALL 3 of the Fairy Tales for the Price of One HERE!
If you missed out on this special, be sure and check back, as I will have a giveaway with two winners for this app.
Giveaway is now open! I am offering a code for a free download of the app reviewed, as well as a $10 iTunes gift card to two winners! 😀
